In a collaborative effort, my partner and I were challenged to design two floors of a boutique hotel located on the High Line in New York City. The hotel connects guests to their inner child and provokes creativity with several playful amenities and vibrant colors. The Park offers an art studio, an interactive art exhibition, small “park” lounge areas, and a large bar/café area to socialize. These amenities are available for both hotel guests and public visitors from the High Line. By day, the hotel welcomes guests with a bright atmosphere, and by night, you’ll be surrounded by an array of colors and light. There is an outlet for creativity around every corner to foster the imagination of every visitor.
